Honestly the margaritas aren't that great and the food isn't anything out of this world but you get a lot of it and it hits the spot. You can't beat the vibe of this place especially when you get to sit on the upstairs patio and they have someone performing live. Really makes for a good time.

Awesome atmosphere, especially on the outdoor patio. Great food. Typical prices. The waitresses wear t-shirts that say "Feed me tacos and tell me I'm pretty!"

Great place to unwind after a hike at Red Rocks. Loved the misters for a light cool down spray in the air on the upstairs patio. Margarita options were fun. Beer options for mug were pretty limited.

This place KILLS. Sign outside says award winning margaritas. Didn’t know what award they won till I tried their Maragrona. Hands down most loaded Margs I’ve ever had. Excellent service, tasty food, and loaded margaritas. What’s not to like?

I used to go to this place back in 1983 for chips and salsa and margaritas. The salsa was fantastic back them. It was still fantastic in 1986. The salsa had fire to it but had plenty of flavor back then. Now it has a little bit of sneaky Heat but it tastes like chili powder. I don't care what anyone says it's not the same as it was back then. Now I go there for the Nostalgia, tradition and to reminisce! I still have chips and salsa and a margarita when I'm there, only nowadays I have the smallest margarita they have. I do like the flavor of the margaritas.

You go for the historical piece to the building and the red rocks theme. First time I have been since I was a kid, and it is still the same which is the best part. Service was good, and the people were friendly. Food was ok, nothing special, but had a pretty good margarita while I was there which made up for the whole thing. One mistake on our order but the friendly waitress even offered to buy us dessert for the trouble even though we declined and were not upset about the mistake.

This place was recommended to us by a lot of people. We had friends visiting who were also told this is a good spot to eat in Morrison. Our waiter was nice but not very good. Our food took forever, and the people who sat after us were served before us. We had 2 kiddos who each got a hot dog. Hot dog bun was hard, so we asked for another, and were told those are the only buns they had. Food wasn't that tasty either. Wasn't impressed at all after all the recommendations and 'awards' they have. Also the ceiling area when you walk in hasn't been cleaned in a long time because there is so much dust!

The Morrison Inn is a fun place to go get dinner and then go to a show at Red Rocks or just walk around Main Street. The patio is PERFECT during the summer, and the margaritas with a beer in them are delicious.

We try to stop by the Morrison inn whenever we get to the west Denver area. Morrison is a beautiful drive out highway 285. The inn is on main Street so grab a parking place as soon as possible as you enter the town. Walk toward the green awnings and you have arrived. We like the rooftop patio which has plenty of sun umbrellas and fresh mountain air. We order the super nachos, big enough to split and a margherita. Delicious and fun! Just a fun, quirky, historic place with awesome food. Enjoy!

We visited on a Monday about 2pm. Place was not very busy. We sat outside on their patio. Our server greeted us immediately and was pleasant. I ordered one of there combo plates. I thought the food arrangement was not the best. Too much sauce over the chili relleno made it soggy and the same with the burrito. Large quantity of food, enough to share. Happy hour drink specials start at 3pm.

Thank you Missy for a great experience. The place was packed for a Wednesday afternoon but she was wonderful. Food very very good. Prices a bit heavy but if you add in everything it is great deal. Yummy margaritas. And KISS pinball. YEAH baby.

My guess is, if the Morrison Inn existed back in the 1860’s it, and not Golden, would have sealed the deal to become county seat and perhaps even beaten Denver as the territorial capitol for Colorado. The Morrison Inn anchors the historic town’s shopping district and serves as the heart and soul of a community that serves as the gateway for thousands of visitors each year to Red Rocks for concerts as well as those enjoying the splendid Jefferson County Open Space parks just up the hill. The Morrison Inn has served delicious Mexican food with an amazingly consistent menu for the past 40 years. (Don’t miss their home made potato chips as a side, they are super yummy!)During the warmer months make sure you find a table on their rooftop patio where you can kick back and enjoy a great margarita and, if you’re lucky, listen to some live music by many of the talented local Colorado musicians.

The Morrison is an amazing place to be! The hospitality is above what words can describe and the food is great too. If you are in the area for a show at Red Rocks, enjoy a killer margarita! Highly recommend! We love this place!

The town was crowded but I got right into the Morrison Inn and Linda seated me with a great view out the window looking at the crosswalk so I could watch the very interesting people walk by. I had the "Roberto's Favorite" Speciality Burrito of chicken and spinach--it was delicious.

The food was very good although the chips and salsa were mediocre at best.It was like some sort of generic Tostitos with a very weak salsa, not spicy at all.You could tell the restaurant doesn’t make their own chips.I took off one star for that because it seems like a very easy fix to me.The actual food was very good though.

This is a fun place to stop for a Large Cold Beer, our a big Taquellia. We had a wonderful waitress that gave us excellent service and helped us with the menu questions. They had live music, little air misters to help keep you cool. We met some great people at the adjoining tables and had a really great time.

Not a bad place to be for Mexican food, but it wasn’t the most authentic in the area. As soon as we arrived, we ordered 4 steak tacos, 1 side of guac, 1 side of beans (refried), 1 side or rice, 1 cheese burger of the kids menu a d 3 bean burritos. Our waitress was really good, smiley and attentive. Food was good but the bean burritos had too much american cheese. The guac and the tacos were delicious but spicy. The menu should say they are served spicy.

Great little village just outside of Red Rock. Descent Mexican food and drinks at a modest price. By eastern standards I would say the food was pretty good. By western standards, the food was average.

Good atmosphere (upstairs on the rooftop) with a casual bend in quaint surroundings. Lovely views too :) The food is acceptable but nothing to write home about. Service was very friendly. The live performer was nice though a little too loud for conversations to be held and he played the same old tunes (60s-70s classics).

Best food in Morrison. Some of the best Mexican food in the Denver Metro area. Friendly, hard working staff. Often live music on rooftop patio. Great spot to eat before a show at Red Rocks.

I give it 3 stars because it's just so touristy and were locals. So I think they kind of exploit the situation in charging more than They truly should. Understanding they're not pandering to locals.

This place was recommended by a friend who lives in the area--we are from out of town. Service was good, but it's not what we are familiar with as far as mexican cuisine. I thought the salsa was mediocre at best and I dont even know what entree I had--especially for the price.

decided to stop by for some lunch on the way to Mile High Nationals. Had never been here before. Service was on point food was great and the salsa was one to be reckoned with. If you're in the area this is a must try place. Been around for a long time and still going strong. There is a reason why.

I love this place. Morrison is such a cute area and offers so many hidden gems. I originally found out about this place about two years ago when I brought a friend from out of town and we both loved it. Went again recently with a college friend who just moved to Denver and it was just as good as I remembered. The waitress walked out with our margaronas and saw our eyes go huge and she laughed and said “these are our starting size” and they were delicious. My friend and I will be back soon for more Sunday fundays! 10/10 recommend the fajitas and the quesadillas and the salsa and all of it.

The Morrison Inn used to be a great place to go with decent food. However the food prices are too high for the quality and type of food. The margaritas used to be great, but now not so much.

Slightly above average americanized Mexican food. Tourist pricing (priced above the quality of the food). Chips are out of a bag and the salsa didn't do it for me. The place has a laid back vibe to it. Decent patio, but not much of a view. I could see it being a fun place to hang out and grab drinks.
